Well as always I'm running behind with the blog again.

And unlike the football I've actually come home. In fact I've been home two weeks now. It's strange being back after so long but it's been great seeing family and friends again.

I've already been working for a week - a bit of a shock to the system, but not too bad. It's quite an unfamiliar feeling to know that I'm going to have some money going into my bank instead of coming out!

Well it's quite an action packed summer ahead with the Glade Festival for my birthday, Dave's stag weekend in Rotterdam, Interakt's 1st birthday, Dave and Sam's wedding, and a few birthdays thrown in there for good measure! By the looks of it it's lucky I've got a bit of money coming in with all that on!!

I now have a new mobile number as well so if anybody wants it send me an email and I'll pass it on.

Well I can't really believe it's all over. It's been the best thing I've done to date. With too many funny stories, too many wicked photos, meeting so many brilliant people, just all round an amazing experience - I would suggest it to anybody!!

Well we may have played shite, but at least we are through!

Again I'm a bit behind with all this.

The land of postcard images has been and gone. We had a great time in NZ and met a heap of lovely people - a big group thanks to everybody.

Well after about sixteen months it has happened.... I've lost Tim

The pain in the arse people in the good old US of A wouldn't give me a visa - even though I was only flying there to get a connecting flight to Mexico! So that put the brakes well and truly on that plan. However, I sent Tim on his way to sample sample the Tequila for me. It was really strange to see him off at the airport :( It's been really fantastic travelling for so long with him in so many different countries - and not too many arguments either! Anyway we will be getting back into England on the same day for a big party!!!

So I had to change my flights back home via Thailand. But before that I had the added bonus of spending a week traveling around the north island with Miki, my lovely lady that I met in Oz. We tried spa's, saw Maori carvings and even had a mud bath!!! Sadly in the end we had to leave NZ and Big Red behind and fly to Asia!!

Well we are now in the island of sheep! To be honest I haven't seen that many yet, although I think there are more on the south island.

We now have new wheels - Big Red! A dirty big red panel waggon!! 4.1L of grunt!!

We have been up to the north tip for a couple of days and ended up doing some sand boarding. A lot of effort for not that much return. Climbing giant sand dunes is not much fun although sliding down face first on a body board is!

We have done a days walk across the Tangariro crossing - where they filmed some of the Lord of the Rings. It was really beautiful and we had a real nice bung of people to do it with. I think it was the most walking I have ever done.

We have also seen loads of thermal craters and bubbly mud pools. Relaxing in natural thermal hot spa's!!

But best of all - WE DID A SKYDIVE!!! 12,000 FEET!! It was one of the best things I've ever done!! I have it all on DVD as I had a camera woman film the whole thing!!

Yet again it's been a while!

SO what's been happening???

Well we moved north after Byron Bay. K, our German friend left us after 7 weeks of sleeping on Mitsi's front seats!!

Tim and I made our way to my parents friends Sue and Roti's house about an hour north of Brisban. My folks came out for a few weeks to see me. It was really good to see them after more then a year! We all travelled up the east coast togeather, taking in the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef, then made our way up to Cairns. Tim and I were treated to luxuaries such as baths, T.V's and swimming pools!

We had some spectacular meals and we all tried croc and roo! Croc really does taste like chicken!! We also saw those bad boys in action at a croc show - man I wouldn't mess with them!

Before we knew it my folks had to fly down to Sydeny to catch their flight home, which was sad because we'd had a great time.

Tim and I worked out our remaining time and realised that we had best head south sharpish because we were going to run out of time for sorting everything out in Melbourne.

People had told us that it would take two weeks to get back to Melbourne from Cairns via the red centre (Alice Spings and Ayers Rock). In the end it only took us five days to get down to Adelaide!! Mitzi loved it!!! It's pretty mad driving down straight roads all day long and not seeing many cars at all - not really seeing anything at all!!

So we had a little bit of time to play with and we thought we should get some work so we headed back to Naracoorte!! We worked there for just over a week and actually had a really great time.

I also found my long lost twin brother, Shane, there... I'll have to get a photo of him up ;)

We fly out from Sydeny on the 2nd April to New Zealand for 6 weeks. We then have a month of sun and beers in Mexico with Oscar!! Then we are homeward bound mid June to catch the end of the World Cup - COME ON ENGLAND!!!

It's been a really nice seasonal period over here. I have to admit I did not feel the least bit Christmasy on the run up to xmas day - especially with Mitsi playing up on the way to Sydney. It proved to be a bit of a headache as my brother was coming out to see me for Christmas and new year. Eventually we got her fixed and we headed to Sydney. Al had already landed and was staying at Ben's, his school mate, place in Coogee in the east suburbs of Sydney. It was really good to see him and he was the first person from back home that I had seen in almost a year!

We settled into Coogee life pretty easily (wake up head to the beach!). This was made even easier by Ben and Brooke's hospitality with their lovely bay side apartment.

We had planned to leave Coogee for the big day, but after we had a look around for a nice quiet beach we decided to give up and head back to Coogee. We stocked up on food and booze and stuck it all in coolers in the van ready for the next morning. We then saw Christmas in with the obligatory Christmas eve drinks. We had a bit of a gang going by that point - I had met up with Llynos, who has based herself in Sydney, there was also Charlotte and Becky - more of Al's school friends, and we can't forget K our friend from Melbourne who moved into the front seats of Mitsi.

Christmas day started with the popping of some Champagne, then slightly tipsy it was to the beach, fully prepared with red Santa hats! The booze flowed freely for the rest of the day as we chilled in the park. Llyn and her friends came up and joined us, as did the girls and we even got a visit from big dutch Benny. I don't think I've ever had such a chilled Christmas.

We had a great time on the run up to NYE with a trip to the casino, where we all came out up!! Ben and Brook won about $800! Sweet! There was Madagascar at the night cinema in the park.

Then came NYE with Fat Boy Slim on Bondi Beach with fifteen thousand others. It was great fun. Tim, myself, Al, K and Llyn were right down the front 'aving it! It was nice to see the old year out and the new year in with family and friends. K the dirty little stop out didn't return until 3pm the next day!

Al has flown home now, via Thailand - it was really good to see you bro!

We have moved up the coast to Byron Bay now. Tim has purchased himself a surf board and I'm thinking about getting a body board. We are looking forward to Monday when we celebrate being away for a whole year!!!!!!
